Automatic Watches Under £300 UK
You do not need a luxury budget to buy a genuinely interesting automatic watch. This guide is for buyers looking around the £300 mark who want something mechanical, genuine and worth wearing.

Where we would start
At this budget, we usually look first at Orient, Seiko and Citizen. Orient Bambino models offer classic dress-watch value, Seiko 5 Sports is a safe entry point into mechanical collecting, and Citizen’s Tsuyosa family can be excellent when discounted or bought carefully.
What to check before buying
Look at condition, warranty, bracelet fit, case size, crystal type and whether the seller is clear about box, papers and returns. A lower price is only good value if the watch is genuine and accurately described.
Our view
The best under-£300 automatic is not always the one with the biggest specification list. It is the one you will actually wear. We would rather have a watch with character than a technically perfect watch that leaves us cold.
Our stock changes regularly because we source watches carefully rather than listing endless generic stock.
